The Dresden Science Calendar supports interdisciplinary research in Dresden by collecting, structuring and distributing announcements of upcoming scientific talks via a unified internet platform.
Dresden is an attractive place of growing interdisciplinary science with research activities spread across the city involving the TU Dresden as well as institutes of the Max Planck and the Fraunhofer Society, of the Leibniz and the Helmholtz Association. In order to provide information on upcoming research seminars and events to all interested colleagues, as well as to the Dresden public, the Dresden Science Calendar has been established. It allows anyone to browse all seminar announcements,
optionally filtered by a variety of criteria including scientific content, as well as to subscribe to this information. The relevant events will then be delivered in a structured manner via RSS-feed, iCal-subscription or other communication channels. As such, the Dresden Science Calendar complements the institutes internal announcement systems from which most of the primary information is automatically synchronized.
The Dresden Science Calendar is an activity within the framework of DRESDEN-concept, in cooperation with the city of Dresden and the Sandstein Neue Medien GmbH.
